Driveway Overlay Questions
Will There Be a Big Bump at My Driveway End?
Our onsite installation crew will ensure to leave a smooth transition, this includes cutting and grinding of the concrete entry area as needed until the necessary final flushness is obtained.
How Does the Paver/travertine Meet at Garage Door?
Most homes will have a higher than driveway floor raised lip. This lip will be the stopping point of the material installation. The installer can grind concrete and provide more clearance as needed for a smooth transition.
Where Will the Paver Pallets Be Placed During Installation?
Pavers are shipped directly from manufacturer and delivered onsite prior to the project commencing. We request that material pallets be placed around the installation areas, as close as possible. Pallets can remain onsite for 2/3 days until project is completed.
Can I Extend the Width of My Driveway?
The overlay process allows us to cover the existing concrete base, if preferred to extend, pouring the concrete driveway extension first is recommended, mixing different thickness of pavers will be noticeable due to color dye change.
Should I Seal After the Installation?
We recommend sealing your pavers or natural stone upon completion. A complete clean and seal will bring your vibrant color to life while also preserving it from loss due to the sun and natural elements.
How Long Do I Wait Before I Can Drive My Vehicle on the Driveway?
We request a 48 hour cure time upon finished installation.
